When God is going to do something Wonderful, He often begins with difficulty- God’s Mysterious Ways !!!!

After my first Blog about ways of God I was inspired to share few more things here, hoping it would help a lot of people. Coz we can never deny the supremacy of God’s grace and favor in our lives. Though we do not see Him, we can definitely boast about the presence we feel when we kneel down with our burdened soul... I take pride in it to be a believer, which an agnostic always misses coz of his/her stubbornness. Nothing can satisfy a parched soul like that of God’s word which directly speaks into our troubled heart and painful situations we are in. so I am again here to write about the Mysterious ways of God to bless His beloved children… These journals made me understand what His ways was and how He works on His plan, and I wanted to share it with you’ll, who too might be at times pondering in your heart about the over turned tables, which made you look like a loser to all others eyes around you…

Our Daily Bread

By, Vernon Grounds:

“Rutherford, a member of the council that wrote the Westminster Confession, was imprisoned because of his beliefs. While in prison, he wrote this soul-strengthening letter expressing the joy that sustained him through his trials: “If God had told me some time ago that He was about to make me as happy as I could be in the world, and then had told me that He should begin by crippling me in all my limbs, and removing me from all my usual sources of enjoyment, I should have thought it a very strange mode of accomplishing His purpose. And yet, how is His wisdom manifest in this! For if you see a man shut up in a closed room, idolizing a set of lamps and rejoicing in their light, and you wished to make him truly happy by blowing out all his lamps; and then throw open the shutters to let in the light of heaven”.

When the candles that light up our darkness are blown out, let’s rejoice that God is throwing open the shuttered windows and pouring in the sunshine of His love. But we got to be the Children of Light…”

We value the light more fully after we’ve come through darkness. His ways are mysterious but not His love towards us. We have seen that in the Calvary Cross. Those who go through the deep waters of trials, adversity or affliction often cannot understand what God is doing. But God knows, and we must trust Him for the outcome. And someday we’ll rejoice in God’s wise plan. God bless !!!!

God Sometimes Puts Us In The Dark To Show Us That He Is The Light !!!!

I have wondered many times 'how can a suffering be a Blessing', have they lost words to comfort the one who is sick and so instead tell them its a Blessing !!!!!! I couldn't accept this at all, it sounded absurd, insanely absurd. If God loves me, then why would he want me to suffer !!!! Had this doubt in my mind and I just gave it to God to answer me. Days passed by. Then I was thinking, may be Christian life is to accept sufferings and tribulations. But then why should Jesus say it is finished in the Cross and tell we are Redeemed !!!!! Oh my, confusing is the Love of God I felt. Felt standing with a fake smile whenever I hear someone say ‘God Loves you and so you’re disciplined. God disciplines those He loves’. But in heart was getting more and more confused each day, until came across this beautiful journal in a book called the “Our Daily Bread” one morning. I decided to share it people around me, so that they could understand God’s purpose in it and what does God’s love got to do with their suffering.

Our Daily Bread:

By, Herb Vander Lugt:

A robust 76-year-old man responded to my comment about his good health by saying, “It’s the greatest of all blessings”. I replied, “Are you sure you really mean that? I know a man who is thankful for illness because that’s how he learned to depend on God’s presence and power”. Smiling, my friend said, “You’re right. Trusting God is far greater blessing than good health. If it takes sickness and pain to think about the glory of God and heaven, I say, praise the Lord for sickness and pain”.

The psalmist wrote, “It is good for me that I have been afflicted” (Ps. 119:71). It is in a time of trouble that many believers discover the tenderness of God and experience His presence. They learn that God is with them. They would rather not go through the difficulty again, but they look back upon it as worth every bit of hurt they endured.

Good health and financial prosperity are great Blessings, and we should be thankful for them. But we need not get discouraged when we encounter illness or adversity. Through them we come to know God better, and we can say with Job, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You”. And that is the greatest of all blessings”.

Would you not agree with them !!!!! When we are blessed even when you could hardly have time for Him, then how much more we shall be blessed when we are looking upon Him day and night !!!! This suffering leads to us to such desperation that we look upon Him, fully dependent upon His grace and mercy, which for sure is very abundant. God Bless !!!!!!
