Valentines Day !!!!!!

Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning.. So, God the Father sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to give us the meaning..

We are God's Valentine !!!!!!!!!!! 

A Simple Kindness Of a Four Year Old

 I happened to read this story in a link, i was truly moved by it, so wanted to post it here in our blog.. It was posted by a grandpa about his 4yr old grand daughter.. I have let him itself narrate it to you'll.. Please give few mins for this..

                                          "A few weeks ago, my oldest son, Erik decided to spend the day with one of his nieces, Mia, who is 4 years old.

They went out and about to several places and then decided to go downtown before heading back home. Downtown is Mia's favorite place to go!  They were walking around and browsing in store windows and taking in the sights when Mia spotted some flowers and she picked a few. After some time, Mia began to drag a bit and Erik, wanting to head back home urged her along.

Passing a few homeless men sitting along the sidewalks, he would walk a bit faster to get her past them, but she held back and made him come to a complete stop. ''C'mon, Mia. You need to walk with me.''  ''Okay, Uncle Erik '', she replied ''but this man needs a flower!''  He looked on as she handed the homeless man her flower and Erik said that the man smiled a big smile. Erik nearly had tears in his eyes as he related this story to the family!

''I'm gonna take her back downtown again soon just so she can hand out her flowers and make people smile...'' he said. Children may learn from us, but we also learn from the big hearts of our children" :)

Its so true, its just a simple act, but that wonderful thought occurred only to a four year old. A thought even for erik it didn't occur. We too are like that, in our busy schedules we forget to see these simple things that we could do for others out, who really needs to be reached. We focus on doin big things and forget the little that we could do. Even i used to say to myself whenever i go out, that i surely should smile at everyone (even at strangers) i meet, but i just don do it as planned.. But have decided now to do it. No more hesitant to be kind.. Kindness really costs us nothin, it just gains us a a beautiful heart in return thats it.. A simple appreciation to our drivers, our maids really costs us nothin.. But why do we forget to do it !!! I think we really should, lets change our attitude just to change theirs.. All the best !!! Thanks for readin my blog....
